for kids ages 7-13
Logan Center for the Arts, 915 E. 60th St.
Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2pm
Presented by South Side Projections and the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts
For April’s Family Saturday at the Logan Center for the Arts, South Side Projections will lead a two-hour video production workshop in which kids aged 7-13 will collaborate on a short film, mad lib style. After spending some time learning how to use basic video and audio equipment, students will randomly select topics, plot points, and locations to come up with a script for a short film. Then we’ll dash around the Logan Center, creating a small cinematic masterpiece and having a great time while doing it. Teachers will edit the footage and send a link to parents approximately one week after the workshop. Make sure to show up on time! There’s lots of ground to cover.
