Join South Side Projections for a youth video workshop at the Logan Center’s Family Saturday on February 4. Kids aged 8 years and above will learn how to operate video and sound recording equipment and then will work together to record part of a performance of Black Girls Can Fly, a play by Sydney Chatman that celebrates Black women aviators from Bessie Coleman to Mae Jemison. Workshop leaders will edit the footage into a short video that they will then share with the students in the week after the workshop.
