Birds and other flying creatures populate this program of short animated films, many from the National Film Board of Canada. Two vain birds decide they want to change their feathers in Fine Feathers (Evelyn Lambart, 1968, 5 min.), and a greedy bluejay learns a lesson about sharing in The Hoarder (Evelyn Lambart, 1969, 7 min.). A trapped chickadee must use its wits to escape from a fox in The Fox and the Chickadee (Evan DeRushie, 2012, 7 min.). A boy nurses an injured goose back to health in The Boy and the Snow Goose (Gayle Thomas, 1984, 10 min.), and a man in a small prairie town dreams of flight in The Balgonie Birdman (Brian Duchscherer, 1991, 8 min.). Finally, How Dinosaurs Learned to Fly (Munro Ferguson, 1995, 6 min.) asks the age-old question: if everyone jumped off a cliff, would you?
