If you’re looking for something to do after the Pullman screening, stop by Hyde Park’s newest and busiest arts and cultural center, SHoP (Southside Hub of Production), at 5638 S. Woodlawn. The open house starts at 4 and goes until whenever. South Side Projections founder Michael W. Phillips Jr. will be showing videos at 6pm, part of an every-hour-on-the-hour series of video programs chosen by various people involved in the house.
If you can’t make it on October 1, fear not: we’ll be presenting other films at the space, as Phillips is one of the founding members and it’s nice to show movies close to home. Keep an eye on SHoP’s films page for announcements, or watch this space.
